I saw this recipe a while ago…and finally decided to make it! It isn’t much more of a process than making regular pizza dough, however it is gluten free friendly and delicious!
My recipe is inspired by brunchtimebaker, but I have made a few modifications!
Enjoy!
Ingredients:
3cups of cauliflower
1 egg
1/4 cup of grated parmesan
1/4 cup of grated mozzarella
2 teaspoons fresh basil (chopped)
salt and pepper
The toppings you want (I made it with tomato sauce, prosciutto, spinach, mushrooms and mozzarella).
Steps:
Preheat over at 500F or 260C.
Blend the cauliflower in a blender or food processor. Then, you will need to transfer the cauliflower to a clean dish towel, and squeeze all of the water out of the vegetable. I had to do this about three or four times to get everything out! This step is really important so that the crust stays together.
Combine the cauliflower, egg, spices and cheese all together, and spread on parchment paper in a round or rectangle pizza pan.
Bake for 10-15 minutes, until the crust is golden. Remove and add toppings, and cook the pizza on broil for another 5 minutes. (*Keep checking the oven so you don’t burn the pizza!)
Enjoy!
